KarnatakaBangalore - CMI's Homes of Hope for boys and girls are in three different locations in Bangalore caring for a total of 231 orphaned or abandoned children, some of whom are HIV or physically or mentally handicapped. CMI also has ten slums that have a Calvary Chapel church and/or Children's Center in them. The children ministered to number about 582. The churches continue to grow as the pastors live among those they serve. Many locations have begun their own weekly youth outreach services at the neighborhood churches.

There is a medical clinic which we staff for the Home of Hope children and the surrounding neiborhood families. CMI's administrative offices are in Bangalore, as well as Director/Pastor L. Gunasekaran's church.

CMI partners with the Churches Council for Child and Youth Care administered by the Church of South India. This program provides poor children with quality Christian education at boarding schools throughout south India. Many of our Calvary Chapel slum families have children that Pastor Guna recommendeds to this program. Through CMI sponsorships these promising young children are able to continue their education.

Koppal - In northern Karnataka young men, serious about serving the Lord through evangelization and church planting attend CMI's two year Bible College program. The program includes a comprehensive study of the entire Bible. They are also taught the guiding principles of teaching, counseling, and discipleship. Each graduate becomes a native evangelist working under a CMI pastor. After opening a Children's Center and/or church in a previously unreached area, he will become a Calvary Chapel pastor.

Through the outreach efforts of students and local CMI evangelists and pastors the need for practical and medical care for HIV/AIDS sufferers came to our attention. We now care for 77 such families in the villages surrounding our Bible College campus. A mobile medical clinic visits each location ministering to the specific needs of each family in crisis. Through monthly sponsorships their families needs for food, lodging, medical, and child care are met. Pastors visit each home sharing the love of Christ through God's Word.

Hukkeri - Near the city of Belgaum in northwest Karnataka, Pastor Solomon has established Children's Centers and churches in four surrounding villages. People here had never heard about the Bible or about Jesus. Now, after ten years of diligent outreach, God's Spirit is stiring the hearts of the people and many are finding salvation through Jesus Christ.
